68 SULLIVAN
RED HOOK, BKLYN
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Yorkers migrated to small towns outside the city seeking out green space where they could also work remotely. This inspired us to create that Live-Work-Play experience right here in Brooklyn—and there's no better place than Red Hook. We found a lot with two existing structures that originally functioned as a woodshop in the mid-1900s. By converting the front structure into a living space, we could keep the back structure as an artist studio, workshop or office. With outdoor space being a priority for coop-ed up New Yorkers, we created a 1,565-SF backyard oasis perfect for entertaining small groups or outdoor meetings.
